I used to play guitar with my brother out on the back porch. A breeze blew across the green lawn of summer, my mother’s wash hung out on the line, drying in the sun. Now my mother and brother have moved on to wherever it is we move on to. Now and then I hear music that takes me back to that moment in time: check out The Weepies on itunes: “World Spins Madly On”

writing a song for my son’s school graduation program I came across this Dr Seuss poem that sums it all up. Where does the time go…

How did it get so late so fast
It’s night before it’s afternoon
December is here before it’s June
My goodness how the time has flewn
How did it get so late so soon
